KNA (I) commander-in-chief apprehended in Mizoram

AIZAWL:

Security forces in Mizoram apprehended Kuki National Army KNA (I) Commander-in-Chief Nehjang Haokip at Zemabawk-Thuampui, in Aizawl on Thursday.

According to official sources, the Aizawl Battalion of 23 Sector Assam Rifles conducted the operation and arrested Haokip after receiving inputs about a KNA (I) cadre in the area.

Haokip was later handed over to the Bawngkawn Police Station in Aizawl for further investigations and prosecutions.
