Nongstoin Civil Hospital receives new ambulance

NONGSTOIN | SEPT 10, 2020:

Nongstoin MLA Macmillan Byrsat on Thursday handed over a new ambulance acquired under the Chief Minister's Relief Fund to Nongstoin Civil Hospital.

Byrsat handed over the ambulance in the presence of the District Medical and Health Officer, Dr M. Bareh, the Medical Superintendent of Nongstoin Civil Hospital, Dr J. Kharkongor and the doctor in-charge of the Corona Care Centre in Nongstoin, Dr W.W Mawsor.

This development comes as a blessing for the people of Nongstoin as the Hospital never had an ambulance until now.

Expressing his gratitude to Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, Byrsat also informed the gathering of the CM's decision to provide an additional ambulance to help the hospital serve the public better.

Others who spoke included Dr M. Bareh and Dr J. Kharkongor, who both lauded the initiatives taken by the Local MLA.
