Meghalaya’s West Garo Hills District Magistrate on Monday informed that the existing night curfew from 11 PM to 5 AM has been extended till February 16.
However, the same relaxations and restrictions should be followed, as notified earlier.
People have been advised to continue wearing masks and not to spit and smoke in public places, including workplaces and offices.
Violators will be penalised under section 2 of the Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897.
The District Magistrate had imposed the night curfew on account of COVID-19 pandemic.
