Meghalaya: WR Kharlukhi to continue as NPP State President

SHILLONG:

Rajya Sabha MP WR Kharlukhi, will continue holding the post of President of National People's Party (NPP) Meghalaya State unit.

This was announced by NPP spokesperson and member secretary of the Central Election Authority (CEA), Marcuise N. Marak on Saturday.

"The Central election authority of the NPP had received only one nomination. Therefore, the election scheduled for March 3, 2021, is hereby cancelled," a release issued by NPP on Saturday stated.
