Meghalaya | Moris Marngar murder case: Residents demand justice

Moris Marngar was buried alive on October 7 by his nephews on suspicion of practising witchcraft.

A rally was carried out on Friday by the villagers and NGOs of West Khasi Hills to express solidarity and to demand justice for the victim of witchhunt, Moris Margnar.

The rally, organised by the Dorbar of Mawliehbah Mawnar, witnessed the participation of hundreds of villagers despite heavy rainfall.

With placards and black flags in their hands, the villagers shouted slogans, demanding strict punishment for the culprits involved in the crime.
