Meghalaya: Man sentenced to 10 years imprisonment for raping minor

NONGSTOIN:
The Court of Session Judge, on March 30, convicted an accused person for raping one minor girl on August 3, 2010, at his residence in Nonglang village, West Khasi Hills District.
The accused, identified as Bonrojesh Marwein, is sentenced to ten years imprisonment with a fine of Rs 10,000.
He was arrested by Nongstoin PS after a thorough investigation of the case.
