Meghalaya: Health workers of Bethany Outreach Hospital get vaccinated with Covishield

NONGPOH: Health care workers of Bethany Outreach Hospital in Nongpoh, Ri Bhoi district on Monday administered the Covishield vaccine in which around 63 out of 65 health workers received the first dose.

The vaccination drive, which is in full swing in the district, has also provided the chance to the private hospital which was led by Dr CM Pohshna, Deputy Medical Superintendent of Bethany Hospital Outreach, Nongpoh followed by other doctors and staff.

The vaccination drive was witnessed by the Deputy Commissioner, R.M Kurbah, accompanied by Dr Alisha Syiemlieh, District Surveillance Officer among others.

Pohshna, DMS of Bethany Outreach Hospital, said, “The administration appreciates the initiative of the District Administration and the District Medical & Health Officer for taking the initiative in conducting the vaccination drive which is going on in the district including private hospitals.”
