Garo Hills-based YouTuber Bikram Ch. Sangma and The 7 Riders' group distributed over fifty blankets to the people with disabilities, and the underprivileged people to cope with the cold this winter in eight places of Garo Hills in Meghalaya.

The eight places include Mendipathar, Resubelapara, Williamnagar, Jengjal, Rongram, Tura, Garobadha and Ampati.

“As in winter, it becomes an utmost necessity to keep themselves and their family warm, to make it through this bitter winter,” the group said.

YouTuber Bikram Ch. Sangma said, “I announced it on my channel “Massie Rabo" about our activity and, asked for the generosity of the people to help us by donating a certain amount of money."

“I am very pleased with all the people who have donated without hesitation and helped us raise the required amount of money for the needy,” he added.

“I am very thankful for my team, 7 Riders and also to those who have generously donated money, marking the success of our mission,” members of the group said.

“We as a team of ‘7 Riders’, who often go on a ride together, stepped forward and collected a certain amount of money to buy blankets, to distribute them to the people,” he added.

“We hope to bring about a change and, to do something good for our “A’chik” (Garo) society by taking one step at a time and offering help, whether big or small, as much as possible," the group said.
