Meghalaya: FKJGP reconstitutes ‘defunct’ Selsella circle

The Federation of Khasi-Jaintia and Garo People (FKJGP) has reconstituted the defunct Selsella circle in West Garo Hills (WGH) after a gap of four years. Announcing the development, FKJGP general secretary Raksrang Sangma said that Anthony Ch Sangma will lead the new unit along with Silang B Marak as general secretary.

"They have pledged to work on the various issues plaguing the area and for the development of the region," said Raksrang. The new unit members include Salseng K Marak as the vice president, Lostone A Sangma and Artrish Ch Marak as assistant general secretaries, Franzing Ch Marak as the chief organizer, Phanuel N Marak as the sports secretary, Walish Ch Sangma as the cultural secretary and Nonseng B Marak as the education secretary.
