SHILLONG : Meghalaya Chief Minister, Conrad K. Sangma has termed the Union Budget of 2021-2022 which was tabled by Union Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman in the Parliament today as a “positive budget”.

“It is a huge stimulus for the economy of the country. We have seen that there is going to be a push for infrastructure projects,” Sangma stated here today.

He further stated that it would be a big bonus with issues regarding farmers and even in the health sector.

“Therefore, we see it is going to be a very positive budget with a good impact on the economy. I am sure it will impact to restart the economy of the country,” Meghalaya Chief Minister added.
