Meghalaya: BSF organises civic action programme along Indo-Bangla border

SHILLONG:

The Border Security Force (BSF), on Saturday, organised a civic program for the Border area Population (BOP) along the Indo-Bangladesh Border.

Kuldeep Singh, commandant of the 11 Battalion of the BSF, inaugurated the programme.

During the function, the commandant distributed various kinds of utility items to the villagers of the border area.

Over 300 people along with the headman and village secretary attended the event which culminated with the distribution of the various essential items.

Meanwhile, BOP appreciated the efforts made by BSF in safeguarding the border areas and the innumerable charitable activities taken by the security team.

The BSF is constantly attempting to ensure the safety and security of the civilians staying in such areas.

The BSF further reiterated that they will continue to shower their service with an utmost dedication in serving the people.
