Meghalaya: 47-year-old woman found dead in Nongstoin

NONGSTOIN:

West Khasi Hills Police on January 11, received information from Nongstoin police booth, that one person identified as Klotilda Kharsyiemlieh (47) of Mawrok Rambrai village was brought dead at Civil Hospital Nongstoin.

During enquiry, the police suspected that the deceased had been physically assaulted by her husband, of which she succumbed to her injuries.

Police have also informed that the accused identified as Nestor Wahlang of Mawrok Rambrai fled away after committing the crime.

Later the accused person has been arrested by the police, and further interrogation into the matter is going on.
