Meghalaya: 10 km mini-marathon held in Tura

TURA:

A 10 km mini-marathon was held from Matchakolgre to Ballonggre field, in Tura, Meghalaya, on Monday.

The District Sports Office organised the event in collaboration with the District Administration and District Water and Sanitation Mission, West Garo Hills.

Witnar A Sangma, Bethnar A Sangma, and Saljagring K Marak won the first, second and third prizes in the male category while Smile Orchid M Momin, Parbina Ch Marak, and Nangkhiewsuki Slong bagged the first, second and third prizes in the female category.

Jeff Athamba K Marak, the youngest runner, was felicitated during the event.

Consolation prizes were also handed out to both male and female participants.
