Meghalaya | Shillong woman dies after collapsing in Delhi hotel

In an unfortunate incident, a woman from Shillong has died after she collapsed in a hotel at Delhi on Sunday night.

The deceased has been identified as Tracy Kharkongor from of Golf links, Pynthorbah. She worked in Bangalore while also pursuing a PhD in Psychology.

Kharkongor was in Delhi for a conference that took place on Saturday and Sunday. She and her colleagues were set to leave for the airport on Sunday. When waiting in the conference hall of the hotel, she asked the staff for water as she was having a headache before she fainted.

Kharkongor was immediately rushed to the nearest RML Hospital but she could not be saved.

The body of the deceased has been taken by her relatives by flight from Delhi to Shillong.
