Meghalaya: Man breaks into sister’s house, steals money worth Rs 10,000

SHILLONG: A man identified as Raymond Dkhar (34 yrs) was found guilty of breaking into his sister's house on Monday morning and stealing cash worth Rs 10,000.

According to the police, Dkhar broke into the residence of his sister, Rihun Dkhar at Lumsohphoh Springside, Laitumkhrah on Monday morning at around 9am.

Meanwhile, in another incident, on Sunday (Oct 9), a complaint was lodged by Defence PRO Amit Mahajan stating that on Sunday afternoon at around 4.30 pm, one Shankar Paul (25 yrs) broke into Office of PRO, Defence, Shillong Cantonment and stole, one wash basin, one flush tank and one geyser.

Police arrested the accused.

In yet another incident, one Teiboklang Lyngdoh lodged a complaint with the police on 09 on Sunday stating that on the same day at around 10 pm, unknown miscreants stole his motorcycle (ML-05J-2812) from Sumer (RB).
