Meghalaya: Local holidays declared in East Garo Hills

WILLIAMNAGAR : The East Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner, L Ch Marak has declared October 25 and November 8 as local holidays on account of 28 Death Anniversary of Capt. Williamson A Sangma, the first Chief Minister of Meghalaya, and 100 Drums Wangala festival respectively.

The official notification issued in this regard stated that all magisterial courts, educational institutions and Govt. offices will remain closed on these two days.
