In a showing of kindness, football Indian legend Renedy Singh visited the Touchline training football session last week where children from the Providence School were also present. Providence School is a school for the underprivileged based in Shillong. Touchline NE, a sports organization based in Shillong invited Renedy Singh and former Premier League player Michael Chopra to visit the session. Both players were in the city for the Mission Football programme.

Renedy Singh was very taken by a young 6 year old named Wilson from the Providence School. The young boy was playing barefoot as he had no shoes but he garnered the interest of the footballers who saw the natural skill and ability the young boy has.
