Women voters outnumber men in Manipur

IMPHAL:

The integrated last photo electoral rolls of all sixty Assembly constituencies in Manipur published on Friday showed that female voters far exceeded the males.

There are 1,058 females, voters, for every thousand male voters as far as the sex ratio is concerned.

Imphal West has the highest sex ratio with 1,127 females for every thousand males.

Meanwhile, 2,894 polling stations have been identified in the state where 602 are in the urban areas, while the remaining 2,292 polling stations are in the rural areas.
