Timber worth Rs 4.60 lakh seized in Manipur

Assam Rifles troops on November 30 seized a consignment of illegal timber along National Highway-102.

Acting on credible intelligence, Assam Rifles troopers launched an operation on November 30 and intercepted three trucks loaded with wooden planks on National Highway-102 and seized timber worth Rs 4.60 lakh.

The timber along with the trucks were handed over to the forest officials for further investigation.
