Sentinels of the North East extends Diwali greetings to citizens of Manipur

The Inspector-General of Assam Rifles (South), Major General Alok Naresh, and all ranks of Assam Rifles, extended warm greetings and good wishes to the people of Manipur on the occasion of Diwali.

In a statement issued on Friday, Naresh stated that Diwali symbolises the victory of good over evil.

“The Assam Rifles wishes that the auspicious occasion will dispel hostility and conflict, and usher in happiness, peace and prosperity amongst people of Manipur,” the statement read.
