Security forces apprehend KKYL insurgent in Manipur

IMPHAL:

A team comprising Assam Rifles and police personnel apprehended a Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL) cadre at Kongba Bazar in Manipur’s Imphal East district on March 21.

The 41-year-old KYKL insurgent was identified as Huirongbam Prabin Singh of Kakwa Nameirakpam under Imphal East district.

During interrogation, Singh confessed to being an active member of the outfit since 2005.

The team handed Singh over to Irilbung Police Station for further legal action.
