Medium-intensity earthquakes rock Arunachal Pradesh & Manipur

The northeastern states of Arunachal Pradesh and Manipur experienced medium intensity earthquakes on Sunday.

The National Center for Seismology (NCS) stated that the two earthquakes measured 4.2 and 3.4 on the Richter scale respectively.

The NCS reported the earthquake in Arunachal Pradesh at 2:42 pm with its epicentre in the Dibang valley region at a depth of 10 kilometres.

The medium-intensity earthquake hit Manipur at 3:02 pm with its epicentre in Chandel district at a depth of 46 kilometres.

There have been no reports on damage to life and property.
