Manipur: Six leaders, 200 BJP workers join Congress

IMPHAL:

In a major political development, six BJP leaders and 200 party members joined the Indian National Congress (INC) in Manipur on Tuesday.

The BJP members included Kilongdi Gonmei, chairman of Khongsang village and Ex-BJP president, Rengpang ADC Segment, Ningchuipou Kamei, vice-president, BJP Booth Level Committee, Rengpang village, Solomon Kamei, Neilalung Gonmei, Pudonlung Kamei and Jathuanlung Kamei.

Congress Working Committee (CWC) member G. Gaikhangam and MPCC President Govindas Konthoujam welcomed the members at a formal induction ceremony in Imphal.
