IMPHAL:

The Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) began its two-day joint session for office bearers and party members on Wednesday.

The session was held at Congress Bhawan in Imphal in the presence of all working committee members of the state Congress.

While addressing the gathering, Congress In-charge of Manipur Bhakta Charan Das told the office bearers and party workers to highlight the assets and pros of the party to the people and to assimilate everyone in the party as equals.

Turning his attention to the farm bills, Das said, “The bills will take away the ownership of the land and hand it over to the corporate.”

“Ambanis and Adanis are getting richer because of the present government,” he added.

The Congress leader also highlighted the works done by Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi for “inclusive growth” in the country.
