Manipur: Kalapahar villagers stage protest to demand justice for abductee

IMPHAL:

Residents of Kalaphar village in Kangpokpi district, Manipur, held a dharna (vigil) for Tikaram Rizalon on Thursday.

Rizalon was abducted from his home on February 16.

According to the villagers, they are seeking the intervention of state officials in the matter.

They also held the dharna to provide the much-needed help that would ensure the release of Rizalon.

According to reports, unknown miscreants abducted Rizalon from his house at 7:00 pm on February 16.

The reason behind the abduction remains unclear, and an investigation is underway.
