Manipur CM inaugurates police guest house, renovated library in Churachandpur

IMPHAL:

Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh, on Monday, inaugurated the newly constructed police guest house, including a renovated district library at Churachandpur headquarters via video conferencing.

Taking to his official Twitter handle, Singh posted the following tweet, “To give a comfortable accommodation to the policemen & their families when they are in the frontline, a newly constructed Police Guest House is inaugurated today at Churachandpur Dist HQ via VC from my office. A renovated District Library is also inaugurated for the District.”

Tribal Affairs and Hills Minister Vungzagin Valte, Singhat AC MLA Ginsuanhau Zou, Churachandpur MLA V. Hangkhanlian Chief Secretary Rajesh Kumar and DGP LM Khaute also attended the inaugural event.

Meanwhile, Singh also launched mPension Manipur Application of the Directorate of Treasuries & Accounts, Government of Manipur.

“mPension Manipur will facilitate employees to a flexible personal retirement plan designed to guarantee a dignified and fulfilled life”, Singh said.
