Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh lauds Union Budget 2021-22

Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh lauded the Union Budget 2021-22 tabled recently by the Central Government during a press conference at the secretariat on Saturday.

"The budget lays great emphasis on the development of road and highways, civic amenities, transportation, education and research, which are integral to the development of any country," Singh said while highlighting the significant points of the budget.

"The budgetary allocation in the health sector is significant and would have a great impact on the common people," he added.

Meanwhile, while speaking about the budgetary provisions for farmers, Singh said the budget would enable the farmers to get a better price for their agricultural produce.
