IN PICTURES | Manipur by-elections 2020: Polling in four Assembly constituencies begins

IMPHAL:

The Polling is underway in four assembly constituencies in Manipur today.

More than 1.35 lakh voters are eligible to exercise their franchise in 203 polling stations in the by-elections to Lilong, Wangjing-Tentha, Saitu and Wangoi seats in Manipur.

Voting has commenced from 7 am and will continue till 5 pm.

The electors will decide the fate of 11 candidates in the four seats.

All the necessary security arrangements have been put in place at the polling booths to ensure smooth conduct of the by-elections.

The counting of votes will be conducted on November 10.
