Speaking to reporters on Tuesday at Congress Bhawan, Singh said that the resigned MLAs did not respect the mandate of the people by not completing the full five-year term.

“They (resigned MLAs) didn’t consult the people who have voted for them and resigned without giving valid reasons,”, added Singh.

Singh also spoke about his government’s achievement and called the tenure of Biren led government a “black term” urging the people to vote for the Congress to continue bringing in development in the state.
