Drug trafficking: Manipur police arrest two in Thoubal district

IMPHAL
Two persons were arrested on charges of possessing contraband items in Thoubal District of Manipur on Wednesday.
The team of Narcotics and Border (NAB) Police Station arrested Md. Zaher Ali (33) and Md. Ali Amzad (26) along Mayai Lambi Road at around 5.30 pm.
The police recovered from the two accused 34 number of soap caps of heroin powder weighing about 442 grams.

The contraband item along with the truck have been seized.
A case has been registered at NAB PS for further investigation.
