Commando unit intercepts, arrests vehicle lifter in Manipur

IMPHAL
A Commando unit from Thoubal district arrested one vehicle lifter from Lilong Haoreibi Tural Ahanbi Ubakthong Makha IVR, near Ngangou Mapal in Manipur on Sunday.
The suspect, identified as 24-year-old Md. Azeruddin (aka Aji), was arrested around 12:15 am with one stolen Honda Activa 6G (dark grey).
The two-wheeler, bearing Chassis No. SME4JF913CLW068441 and Engine No.JF91EW0068371 was said to have been lifted, from the campus of Jama Masjid in Lilong Bazar.
The suspect and the stolen motorcycle were later handed over to Lilong police.
A case was also filed, concerning the theft, at Lilong PS.
