BJP National President JP Nadda tour to Manipur put off

Imphal: The BJP Manipur unit on December 11 in a press release denounced the “barbaric attack” on the National President JP Nadda, which it termed as an act of cowardice.

“The attack shows the era of tyranny under the leadership of Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress,” stated the release.

It may be mentioned that JP Nadda, BJP National president, was attacked along with his convoy while on their way to Diamond Harbour area in South 24 Pargana District in Kolkata on Thursday.

The release further informed that the proposed visit to Manipur by JP Nadda which was scheduled for 13 and 14 of December have been postponed and is likely to be rescheduled in the first week of January 2021.
