Bike accident in Manipur leaves two women dead

IMPHAL:

An accident involving a bike and a water tanker resulted in the death of two women on Thursday afternoon in Imphal.

The deceased identified as Yurembam Silvia Devi (22) resident of Singjamei Chongtham Leikai and Thoudam Chinglembi Dev (18) resident of Kakwa Lamdaibung died on the spot.

According to sources, the water tanker truck collided with a two-wheeler near Kwakeithel traffic point around 12 noon.

The two women succumbed to their injuries and were later on taken to RIMS mortuary.
