Assam Rifles organised a "Know Your Armed Forces Expo" on 20 November in Chandel District in its effort to motivate the youths of the nation.

The event commenced with a motivational lecture followed by the screening of the video "Live a Life Less Ordinary: Indian Army and Assam Rifles."

The expo included the display of new generational weapons and equipment such as assault rifles, support weapons and day/ night sights.

A small talk on ‘Career in Armed Forces’ was held in which students were explained about joining the armed forces for which they were provided information regarding admission to Sainik Schools, Military Schools, RIMC, upcoming NDA and Naval Academy examinations and various entries after completion of graduation.

A total of 45 students comprising both boys and girls from neighbouring villages participated in the event.
