IMPHAL: Residents of Naoriya Pakhanglakpa A/C have decided to form a committee for filing a complaint against sitting MLA at the law court over unfair distribution of NFSA rice.

While talking to media BJP secretary O Malesh said that the people of constituency have not received rice for the last four months rice.

But recently, the rice quota for two months was forcibly distributed through agents. But people got only four kgs instead of five as per rule.

For AAY cardholders each house should get 35 Kg but the agent has distributed only 15 kg. When people complained the agent said it was the directive of DC.

Malesh said that the National Food Security Act was passed by parliament and there is no provision for involving any Minister or MLA in NFSA.
