Man gets 10-year imprisonment for sexually abusing minor in Tripura

AGARTALA: A man was sentenced to jail for 10 years after he was convicted of sexually abusing a minor girl in Agartala West District two years ago, on Tuesday. The session judge today convicted Subhash Ghosh under the Protection of Children against Sexual Offences Act, 2012.

Sources said that Subhash had sexually abused the minor girl at Renters' Colony in Agartala on March 22 in 2013.

A case was lodged against him at the police station. After long hearing, the court found him guilty under POCSO and gave the verdict.
