Job seekers duped 20 lakhs in Sikkim

SIKKIM: Two people were arrested for duping ten people from Sikkim by allegedly offering them jobs at a resort in Mauritius.One of the complainants had met the accused, Aman Dubey and Ajay Mani, at their B-Cabin Road office in December,last year.

The duo had promised him with a job as an electrician in Mauritius. When his friends and family heard of the offer, they too showed interest. They then gave the duo Rs. 20 lakhs. The two men then disappeared and their shop has been shut ever since.

A case has been registered and police are investigating the matter.
