Indian Air Force recruitment rally for Northeast States @ Guwahati from Feb 16- 21, check details

Indian Air Force offers opportunities for Unmarried Male Indian/ Nepalese Citizens from all districts of State of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura & Manipur to join as Airmen.

The Recruitment Test will be conducted from 6 AM onwards as per the details given below. Candidates {from States of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland Tripura & Manipur} fulfilling the domicile requirements and eligibility conditions reporting up to 10 AM on 16 February 2020 and 19 February 2020 at Near Lake Gate, Air Force Station Borjhar, Guwahati, Assam (Rally Venue) will only be permitted to appear in the Recruitment Test.

For all district of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland & Tripura
16 February 2020:- Physical Fitness Test & Written-test
17 February 2020:- Adaptability Test – 1, Adaptability Test 2 & Dynamic Factor test (DFT)

For all district of Manipur
19 February 2020:- Physical Fitness Test & Written-test
20 February 2020:- Adaptability Test – 1, Adaptability Test 2 & Dynamic Factor test (DFT)

The Physical Fitness Test will be conducted at Air Force Station Borjhar, Guwahati, Assam and the rest of the testing will be conducted at 11 Airmen Selection Centre, VIP Chowk, Guwahati, Assam.

Date of Birth Block:- Candidates born between 17 January 2000 and 30 December 2003 (both days inclusive) are eligible to appear in the recruitment rally.
Educational Qualification:-
Candidate should have passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ Class XII or Equivalent Examination in any stream/ subjects approved by Central/ State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate as well as in English in Class XII or equivalent examination.
OR
Passed two years vocational course from Education Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the vocational course or in Intermediate/ Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.
Domicile Requirement:-
To be eligible to appear in the Indian Air Force Recruitment Rally 2020 for the Northeast States the candidates shall be required to satisfy the following conditions:

Sequence of Examination
The Recruitment Rally will consist of Physical Fitness Test (PET) and Written Test followed by Medical Examination.
1.Physical Fitness Test (PET)
1. 6 KM run within 5 minutes 40 seconds.
2. Chin up- minimum 08.
3. Push-up (plank type)- minimum 20.
4. Bent Knee Sit Ups- minimum 20

2. Written Test
All candidates who qualify PFT will have to undertake a Written Test on the same or subsequent day depending on the local conditions. The Written Test will be objective type and question paper will be bilingual (English & Hindi) except for English paper. The duration of the written test will be 45 minutes and will comprise of English as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning & General Awareness. The results of the written test will be declared on the same day.

3. Medical Examination
Candidates who qualify the above-mentioned test shall be medically examined in the month of July 2020 at 11 Wing, Air Force Station Tejpur Medical Examination shall be conducted by Air Force Medical Team as per IAF medical standards and existing policy in vogue.
