Protests against the Citizenship Amendment Bill across the Northeast is far from over as social organisations continue to carry out agitational activities across the region to send a "clear" message to the law makers before the Upper House decides the fate of the bill.

In Guwahati today, a massive rally, which was organised by the All Assam Students' Union (AASU) and 30 other indigenous social organisations, was also attended by members of North East Students' Organisation (NESO) and Meghalaya-based Khasi Students' Union (KSU).

Meanwhile, in Aizawl, a similar rally was organised by NESO and Mizo Students' Association ( Mizo Zirlai Pawl or MZP).
