GUWAHATI: India is all set to take on Laos in the second leg of the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers which will be held in Guwahati on Tuesday at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, Sarusajai.
India go into the second leg feeling more confident than away side Laos as they have a 1-0 victory from the first leg. The 18 member Laos squad arrived on the June 5 and will hope to come away with a at least a win. The match will begin at 7 pm. Ticket prices for the match start at Rs.50 and go all the way up to Rs.500 for the VIP gallery. The Laos teams' trip to India has been paid for by Habib Md Choudhary, an Indian who wants to help out the team that ranks 174th in the Fifa World rankings.
India will hope to count on home advantage and with the Northeast being a football loving region, the team will hope that thousands will throng to support the national team.
