CM Pema Khandu goes on Royal Enfield to promote tourism in Arunachal Pradesh

Passing through the lush green scenic landscape hillside roads of Arunachal Pradesh, This man seen riding is, however, no ordinary biker but the Chief Minister himself.

To promote state's tourism, Pema Khandu, the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh posted the video of him riding Royal Enfield interceptor 650.

"Video of motorcycle road trip from Yinkiong to Pasighat," said the post by BJP's Pema Khandu who covered a 122 kilometers stretch along the headquarters of Upper Siang district in Arunachal, famous for its enriched landscape and serenity.

The chief minister described the ride as a "humble attempt towards promoting Arunachal as dream destination for biking and adventure sports".

"A 122 km motorcycle ride from Yingkiong to Pasighat on 13th October 2019. Began my bike ride from Yingkiong Circuit house at 8 am and reached Pasighat Airport at 10.30 am. The route offers best picturesque views of the Siang Valley and Adi villages," Mr Khandu said.

Earlier, Khandu was also seen cycling with Bollywood actor Salman Khan during Mechuka Adventure Festival 2018.Khandu uses his social media accounts extensively to promote tourism across Arunachal Pradesh with hashtags like #AmazingArunachal and #VisitArunachal.
