Assam: Suspected militant arrested on January 15

GUWAHATI:

A suspected extremist of the militant outfit Kamtapur Liberation Organisation (KLO) was arrested by Kokrajhar police during a joint operation by the Indian Army and police personnel from Kachugaon police station on Friday.

Police identified the suspected KLO cadre as Pradip Roy aka Changma of Ankorbari village under Dhaligaon PS.

In addition to Roy’s arrest, police recovered a foreign-made 7.65 mm pistol, magazine and six live rounds from his possession.
