DIBRUGARH:

General Secretary of the All India Congress Committee, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Monday, launched a state-wide protest in poll-bound Assam to express the party's disapproval against "rampant unemployment".

Gandhi, who is in Assam for a two-day campaign, launched the protest during a public gathering at Lakhimpur in Assam.

She said that Assam now realises the necessity of voting the BJP out of power in the State.

"Priyanka Gandhi launches a state-wide unemployment protest from Lakhimpur, Assam. Protests will be held across the state with demonstrations in front of government employment offices. Congress party stands with the youth of Assam & of India," the official Twitter account of the Indian National Congress tweeted.
