Police locate ex-Assam MP’s son in Chapaguri

GUWAHATI:

The missing child of ex-MP Sri Biswajeet Daimary has been located in Chapaguri in Assam’s Chirang district, the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Law and Order, GP Singh, said on Wednesday.

According to sources, 16-year-old Amitraj Daimary was reported missing since Tuesday afternoon after he had jumped over the boundary wall of his boarding school in Kokrajhar town.

“We came to know he told two of his friends he wanted to go to Guwahati or Delhi,” the Superintendent of Police of Kokrajhar district, Rakesh Roushan, said.
