Mild quake jolts Assam

SHILLONG:

A 3.5 magnitude earthquake struck the state of Assam on November 3 at 5.28 pm.

The epicentre of the quake, with a depth of 20 km, was traced at Karimganj.

On the same day, a 4.4 magnitude earthquake hit Meghalaya at 1.13 am.

According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter Scale struck West Khasi Hills in Meghalaya in the wee hours of Tuesday.

The earthquake struck at a depth of 10 km with a latitude 25.69 and longitude of 91.15.
