Man arrested for attempting to smuggle rhino horn in Karbi Anglong

DIPHU:

Karbi Anglong Police arrested a man for the illegal possession of a rhino horn weighing 390 grams at Dillai, under Dillai Police station in Assam on Wednesday.

According to police sources, the suspect was trying to smuggle the horn to Dimapur, Nagaland.

Police identified the suspect as 27-year-old Arif Jakaria of Tinsukia, under Juria police station, Nagaon district.
