Long-distance train re-introduced for passengers in Assam

DIBRUGARH:

Services of two long-distance trains were re-introduced from Dibrugarh and Tinsukia in Assam for passengers travelling towards Northern India.

Two long-distance express special trains which were earlier temporarily cancelled till February 28 due to foggy weather season are being re-introduced.

The trains are Dibrugarh – Lalgarh – Dibrugarh Express (05909 / 05910) and New Tinsukia - Amritsar Jn – New Tinsukia Express (05933 / 05924).

Train number 05909 Dibrugarh – Lalgarh Express special will leave daily from Dibrugarh at 10-20 hrs to arrive Lalgarh Jn at 04-10 hrs on the fourth day.

During the return journey, train number 05910 Lalgarh – Dibrugarh Express special will leave daily from Lalgarh Jn at 19-50 hrs to arrive Dibrugarh at 15-35 hrs on the fourth day.

Train number 05933 New Tinsukia – Amritsar Jn Express special will leave every Wednesday from New Tinsukia at 09-00 hrs to arrive Amritsar Jn at 21-00 hrs on the third day.

During the return journey, train number 05934 Amritsar Jn – New Tinsukia Express special will start from Amritsar Jn every Friday at 15-40 hrs to arrive New Tinsukia at 02-40 hrs on the fourth day.
