Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on December 17 took stock of the existing vacancies in different government departments and asked the departmental heads to fill up the vacancies on a mission mode to help aspiring youths get rightful vocations.
“For responsive and accountable governance, the state government would soon launch a recruitment drive to fill up all sanctioned government posts on a mission mode,” Chief Minister Sonowal said.
He also said that because of the government’s decision, all aspiring youths of the state would get rightful vocations in a very transparent and accountable manner.
Besides, all circuit houses in the districts would be revamped and refurbished with infrastructure and manpower, he further informed.
During the meeting, Sonowal asked Chief Secretary Jishnu Barua to expedite the public service delivery system across the state so that people from all sections get the benefits of governance easily.
