Assam: Two arrested with arms and ammunition in Karbi Anglong

Karbi Anglong Police, on Thursday, arrested two persons for the illegal possession of arms at Lahorijan in Karbi Anglong district.

According to reports, police acted on a tip-off and launched an operation to apprehend the suspects at Lahorijan.

One 7.65 mm pistol along with a magazine and two live rounds of ammunition were recovered from the two suspects.

Police identified the duo as Rohan Pradhan (20) and Lucky Pradhan (22).

An investigation of the case is ongoing.
