Assam: Three persons killed in road accident at Manja in Karbi Anglong

Three persons died in a road accident that took place at Mohongdijuwa in Karbi Anglong, Assam on Monday morning after a collision between a TATA Ultra bus and an oil tanker.

According to reports, at around 8.30 am, the bus coming from Dimapur in Nagaland towards Hojai in Assam tried to overtake a truck and collided with the oil tanker that was coming from Natun Basti in Karbi Anglong.

The deceased have been identified as Jabed Ali (32) and Dharmendra Das (32), both associated with Anupam Sarma Construction Team.

The details of the third dead person are still unknown.

Meanwhile, three people are in serious condition and have been shifted to the nearby hospital.

The dead bodies are in police custody at Manja Police station, Karbi Anglong, Assam.
